The work is an attempt to understand and reappropriate the problematic of the production of discourse, manipulation and responsibility.

Camp Victory is based on the ‘talking head’ principle, a technique by which a performer has to repeat what a voice is saying in his/her headphones, becoming therefore an obviously remote controlled voice & body.

Most of the texts used for the performance have been adapted from blogs published by american soldiers during the war in Irak, partly transformed using cut-up & generative techniques as well as translation into french.

The performance has been premiered in november 2005 in Lausanne, Switzerland.
