In the next hour you will be listening to the first part of the audio experiment, Excerpts Fom Sylvia Plath’s Unabridged DIaries, created by Lena Kocisova and Sarah Martinus for Cashmere Radio.

Selected chapters are narrated by Sarah and accompanying soundscapes originate from collaborative improvisations between artists Kocisova and Martinus’ aliases, Akkamiau and Consumer Refund. This first hour features two tracks, “Perhaps” by Akkamiau and “Broke” by Consumer Refund. The soundtrack in its entirety was compiled and produced by Akkamiau and graphic art credits go to Consumer Refund.

We cordially invite you on this journey through sound: we hope the insights, trials and tribulations of the accounts from Plath’s life allow you to explore the deep and creative energy of what is female within all of us.

Akkamiau and Consumer Refund are artists and musicians residing in Berlin, established within the international creative community and are both active members of female:pressure.
