Too depressed to kill yourself. Dying on stage. Dying for art. Dying for Dalida. CHEAP discusses the proximity between death and artistic expression with their guest from Bangalore, artist and composer Yashas Shetty, who plays some fantastic live experimental music in the rebooty studio. This show is part of CHEAP Funk’s continuing exploration of the work of Werner Schroeter, his films and ideas. It even features a fantastic reading of Schroeter’s screenplay Argila by Susanne Sachsse but you don’t get to hear it because it got cut off at the start of the show. Bummer, huh. But stay tuned because you never know when she will repeat it. Make art. Put everything into it. Die for art. I dunno.
