Our work takes us to such distant places. We often have to do it, whether we want to or not, just to be able to pay the rent and keep our wits about us. Sometimes we just need a change of scenery but we nevertheless continue with our daily production, cuz produce we must. But when we come back together in the same place, we’re just so happy to reunite that we babble on about revolution, love, the masses, BDS court victories and the other things that keep us going. CHEAP RIJUN remembers the great Jessye Norman. We shout out to Anna Nikoghosyan and her team at the Femlibrary in Yerevan, and to the ruminations on revolution by Ruzanna Grigoryan. We check in with Ellen Sachsse and Wolfgang Bruhm but it just doesn’t work out. The Munich punk band Dagowops joins in, as do Sparks, Meshell Ndegeocello, the irrepressible Glen Meadmore, Rainer Werner Fassbinder, Vlado Kristl, Ortega y Gasset, Stadtgeflüster, The Goodies and Eartha Kitt (always).
