caro4A LOVER’S WAR - #4 TIME, SPACE & PUNK WITH CAROLINA TAMAYO-ROJAS

María do Mar Castro Varela and Aïcha Diallo in conversation with Carolina Tamayo-Rojas, anthropologist, lecturer and musician, discuss
her recently submitted dissertation on “Alternatives to Development Politics” that explores non-Eurocentric forms of economy and strategies of resistance against an ongoing coloniality in the Andean Region. In this hour-long conversation, Tamayo-Rojas shares insights into her ethical and political practices as an anthropologist, reflects on the non-linear notion of time and space, and the transformative power of Punk.

The interview is part of our ongoing project: A LOVER’S WAR: PERSPECTIVES ON TRAUMA, RESILIENCE, EDUCATION & ARTS. The project is
being developed as a discursive platform. Using examples from cultural productions, education, and research, we try to examine the direct and indirect links between conflict, (re-)traumatization, resistance, and resilience.
