We pick the artist - They pick the music.

UI Picks is curated by the Underground Institute, an international agency for adventurous music
and platform for culture. UI Picks episodes are tailored for selected underground radio stations.

In this episode - “Science Fiction”, Gelbart takes us on a journey through music taken from sci-fi
movies or inspired by sci-fi themes.

Look out for the special cover version of Ornette Coleman’s “Broken shadows” made especially for
the show, which originally appears on his “science fiction” album (the extended edition).

Prolific Multi-instrumentalist Gelbart (Gagarin Records) has written a surrealist sci-fi novel titled
“Egglike” and directed a Sci-Fi animation film called “Vermin”. He’s released countless of records,
played on a multitude of very diverse instruments.

This episode of UI Picks feat. Joe Meek, Devo, Sun Ra, Doris Day and more.
