In 1999 the rapper alter-ego of Madlib, Quasimoto, released his 2nd single Microphone Mathematics which appeared later in his debut album The Unseen. In 2009 All City Records created a limited edition series of instr. compilations 7x7 Beat to demonstrate the best of the new international beat scene which people didn’t and still don’t fully understand or know how to name. Includes artists like Snowman, Mike Slott, Fulgeance, Mweslee, Hud Mo.. In December 2011 Japanese producer Repeat Pattern released 08-09 on French Cascade Rec. Bibio’s new album on Warp Silver Wilkinson comes out May 13th, “You” is on it. Italy’s Giz made the 2nd EP edition in the Moods series. As the soundtrack for the lunar eclipse on 25th April, Project Mooncircle/Finest Ego selected some exclusive/unreleased songs from Robot Koch, Submerse, Rain Dog, Lomovolokno, KRTS, etc.. on a mini-compilation called Eclipse. Substantial gave instrumentals from his album Home Is Where The Art Is for free dwnld for a week..

Raw Fruit, a cassette/t-shirt/digital audio package release on Leaving Rec, out 28th May 2013, is simple RAW SHIT, things you won’t hear in a usual release, made on the SP 303/404 and MPC 2000XL. He’s definitely one of the most important figures on the LA beat scene who steps into free jazz, jazz fusion and afrofuturism. Co-founder of Poo-Bah label. He & Gonjasufi were on the 1st 7” in Hit&Run’s 7-part vinyl series for their 7th birthday, called 777, out in Feb 2013. Played also a beat from the 2008 Beats Of Mind.
