The Canadian composer works with acoustic instruments and electronics. Drawing inspiration from investigations of the sounding and perception of Just Intonation and of various music traditions such as folk, experimental and classical. he writes and performes pieces for concert and installation settings. In this interview from June 2010, Marc shares his thoughts on the development of the Extended Helmholtz-Ellis JI Pitch Notation and on writing and performing music in microtonal Just Intonation.
