ausland is an independent venue for music, film, literature, performance and other artistic endeavours. We also offer our infrastructure for artists and projects for rehearsals, recordings, and workshops, as well as a number of residencies.
Inaugurated in 2002, ausland is run by a collective of volunteers (= ausländers): Artists themselves and/or culture & DIY-enthusiasts from different backgrounds and countries.
raudio aasland is the name of ausland’s radio show and is on air every 5 weeks from 9:30 – 10:30 pm on reboot.fm*.
The content of raudio aasland consists of interviews with artists beforming at ausland, recordings from events at ausland, social interactions, abnormal features, concept art and outlandish sounds of all kinds.
