I have been fascinated by the Arab uprisings of the 2010’s and their unexpected outcomes. It appears to me that although the yearning for freedom is a natural human element, we especially in the global south seem to be very bad at it. And then there is Ethiopia and Eritrea and that wedding ring of theirs called the Nile. How could we work out a democratic deliberation in the face of oppression ?? And where does art come in in doing us any help?? My guest Caram Capp, a calligraphist, Polemic, comic book writer and all around intellectual and we shall discuss all of it in this episode of the show. Tune in!! You will enjoy it!!
